2 - 5 players, 10 years and up, approx. 30 - 45 minutes
Short description / motivation: Holland, 16th century: Brave pioneers reclaimed more and more land from the Wadden Sea for grazing lands and fields. They build windmills to drain the land and work on the fields to finally get the popular Gouda.
Gouda is a fast game with tiles where the players try to create large landscapes, build windmills, construct and finally exploit long Gouda roads. Only these Goudas will mean victory points at the end of the game!
Details: Each player gets 5 windmills and 2 landscape tiles. He may either place one of his tiles on the table, build a windmill on a landscape, construct a Gouda road or finally get some Goudas from his roads. Each player ends his turn by drawing a card from the top of the stock pile.
The players compete with each other to construct the biggest landscapes and to get the biggest parts of the limited amount of Goudas. As soon as all pieces of Gouda are distributed, the game ends.
This game includes: 57 Tiles, 1 Start Player Marker, 54 Goudas, 25 Windmills
