Short description / motivation: The emperor needs new guards to protect his palace. He sends messengers to all parts of his country to find 25 brave men. The province governors strive for the favor of the emperor and send their best people. But they also want the most influence on the emperor and the highest rewards and so they attempt to get the best positions up to the Mandarin of the guard.
The Terracotta Army of Xi'an, with its many individually designed soldiers, over 2000 years old, inspired the authors to create this game.
Details: The aim of the game is to get the best places in the formation of the guards in order to have the most influence and in this way the most money at the end of the game. Therefore, the players put soldiers with matching cloths in the formation of the guards and give money to them. The players can also buy the guards of the other players to make them leave the formation.
Since the game board develops during the game, every game is unique. Although each player plays on his own, teamwork is an important factor in this game.
This game includes: 60 soldiers (cards), 40 coins, 1 palace, 1 scoreboard, 5 scoring markers
